LightZone is a free, freely open-source software program for managing digital photographs. It was initially developed by the now-abandoned Light Crafts as an open-source product. Its main function is to manage the workflow of photos with various RAW format, including non-destructive photo editing. One of the main advantages of this software over others is its flexibility and ease of use. In fact, the entire system is made possible through a series of steps that allow users to edit or modify the images they shoot using it. This allows them to do what is required to get the best out of the photos taken using the software.
The software can be used with different image formats, including JPEG files, PICT and TIFF files and DNG files. In addition to this, you can also import some of the other file formats supported by the program, such as PSD and PPT. Although the program works in many different formats, the most commonly used ones include: JPG, PICT, GIF, PCX, PSD, TIFF and DNG. You can also create your own image formats and use them in the software. A few images that you can use in the Light Zone software are: animated GIF, PICT, PCX, PSD, and DNG.
Another major advantage of using Lightzone for photo editing is its ability to make photos look more professional than those taken by others. Aside from allowing the user to edit the photos without the need of using any image editing software, the program also allows the user to add text on top of the images or make transitions between the different images. In order to be able to do this, you will need to have Adobe Photoshop installed on your computer. There are other tools and features of the program that you can also use to enhance the pictures you shoot. They include: image backgrounds, background gradients, white balance adjustment, image masking, crop, and image compositing, among others.
